Title pretty explains it, but when you have been around for a long time, you acquire a bunch of retired dots, the profile page seems to get slowed down a bit when you have all players selected.

Maybe let us rename the ones we want to keep that aren't named, and all the rest are gone forever.

Then keep a separate page to keep the retired dots that we want to come back as coaches as well?

Why? if you're selecting the players you want too keep what's the point in having an additional page for players you want to keep?? I mean I have like 100 level 2's to lvl 20's that I don't even look at, I'm sure people aren't constantly looking at their retired players. Also, not to get onto coaches, but I doubt they will make them, anyone holding on to a retired player for a coach, well is living a pipe dream. Bort is just too afraid to lose an already dwindling user base by saying he's not going to install coaches.

So just select the ones you want to keep and get rid of all the rest permanently

Theres no point of having your players become coaches tbh

Contact support.

Support removed a player that I realized I had saved the name by accident--there was nothing significant about the player, I just clicked the wrong option when I retired him.

Support also moved a player BACK to my "keeper" page when retired him and then a few seasons later realized that he actually had a decent career and deserved to be remembered.

I'd be in favor of automating the process where we could fully self-manage our player pages, but in the interim you can contact support.

@LR I'm saying get rid of the un-named retired players, only keeping the named ones you want, renaming un-named players you want to keep aswell, but basically doing away with unnamed players

They're gone from your view if you choose to have them that way--there's a "view only named players" view that you can select. Go to your retired players page, then click "Edit Mode" and the "view only named players" is an option. That's how I keep my retired players page.

I find myself looking things up from time to time, even on my unnamed players, so I don't want them to vanish completely.

currently the best way to do this (keeping some unnamed players, but not all) is to contact support with a linked to the unnammed players you want to keep, and a list of names for them to use. Support can rename those retired players and then you can select "named only"

but for the topic, I'd be ok with a "remove player permanently" thing on your retired players page to be able to delete those level 1s etc I made for test reasons etc
