I don't feel like doing math right now but - Apr 16, 2009 - Better QB leading calculations update - LB's no longer omnicient in pass coverage - they play more like real LB's. - Big fix to lead blocking algorithm - rewrite on waypoint finding and vision cone to be more reliable and realistic - Lots of little tweaks to individual running plays - Jumping, diving, and low catches show up in replays now - Passes knocked loose by a defender now show up in PBP as "knocked loose" and count as both a PD and a drop
Pretty sure S19 had knocked loose but like I said I am not really into figuring it out for sure. Bueller?
Coordinating a rookie team for the first time, the thing I've noticed is that there aren't any fumbles. Most offensive dots have no investment in carrying yet, and most ballcarriers have minimal strength too, yet most teams go the entire season without fumbling once. What does that tell me? That SAs, VAs, FF eq, and tackling are more important to forcing fumbles than a ballcarrier's lack of ball security is. When a defender has the ball, they get hit by an offensive player with no tackling, no FF SAs or VAs or EQ, and probably very little speed or very little strength. Not only that, but most defensive players that get tackled are simply touched after they fell down on an INT or fell down on a fumble recovery. You rarely see the kind of high-speed head-on collisions that are more likely to result in offensive players fumbling.
To me, it's too easy for low carrying and low strength dots to hold on to the ball. Fumbles should happen more often due to ballcarrier error. Right now there is too much ones on the defensive players to just score a crazy high FF roll.
