Suggestion: see title

Reason for suggestion: Unless you continuously check the "Previous Bug Tickets" tab under Support, you have no idea when a response to a bug you submitted has been filed. This can lead to bugs being designated as "Not a Bug" due solely to no response from the initial submitter, because said person didn't know further information was required.

This should be easy to implement. Agents already get automatic alerts anytime a player gets a contract or endorsement, a quick scrim is scheduled, or received a PF invite. It should be easy to also automate an Alert stating a response has been made to a submitted Bugs Ticket. For completion, a link within the Alert leading to the Bugs Ticket would be very useful.

customers who post bug reports don't always have any reason to post beyond trying to be helpful and may not check back. Maybe it would be good to have two types of bug reports. the "i'm upset/game is broken" types where the customer wants some kind of change because of perceived negative effects to their players/teams and the "FYI" types where the customer just notices something odd and wants to point it out for the good of the game. the latter group don't have any incentive to be providing additional info, links or anything, but the bugs staff still treat them as if they do and sometimes make detailed requests for more info or access to your AIs or something.

edit: also,as far as the OPs suggestion, i'd favor making it optional or with an opt-out. like there's a box when you file a bug report that is checked by default and you can uncheck it if you DON'T want the alerts.

We've been asking for this since the beginning. Especially since we don't get notification of who the reporter is and some bug reports don't give us enough information to figure it out.

Note - Typically we respond to bug reports within a day or so. We usually don't mark something as Not a Bug until about a week after the first response (and will usually post a comment about what day we'll close it without more info). If you check back every day or two you'll be able to provide whatever information may be required.

I submitted something that I'm pretty sure was a bug, but they closed it because I had no clue to go back and look at it after they responded. I was expecting a PM or something. And then I just ended up forgetting about it.
