Additional observations:

Semi Pro Elite playoff teams go to Reg Pro Elite
Semi Pro non-playoff teams go to Reg Pro Comp
Semi Pro Comp top 4 teams (estimate, not sure the exact breakdown) go to Reg Pro Elite
The rest of Semi Pro Comp and Normal get dispersed somehow thru-out Reg Pro Comp and Normal

- Per that announcement, they keep the top 80 Nat Pro teams that did not promote to WL in Nat Pro. Every season there are 128 Nat Pro teams. 16 Promote to WL, 80 stay in Nat Pro, and 32 demote. Ignoring guts, that means bottom 4 in each division demote (if my math and that announcement is right).
- Nat Pro demotions go to Reg Pro Comp (don't ask me why)
- From observation - Reg Pro Elite Playoff teams promote to Nat Pro, then they take the best of the Reg Pro Comp teams. It is better to be a 3rd place team in Reg Pro Comp than the 9th place team in Reg Pro Elite, altho both 9th place teams in Reg Pro Elite in Season 34 were able to swap up to Nat Pro.

It is a bit different every season and quite a bit of shuffling over the first few days.

With a couple PMs and coordination with other owners, teams can get into Nat Pro, by Switching with teams that go CPU or other reasons a team is in Nat Pro but wont be competitive. Also, teams that just miss playoffs, but are maybe a few players away from being a solid Pro team and want to stay can work with support to stay and recruit. So, if a team of plateau dots want to stay in nat pro they have been able to fairly easy.

Essentially the shuffle with go and the teams will change around quite a bit for about a week. In my mind it is best for Nat Pro as well as Regional Pro if a good number of the level 79 teams stay up.
