Why would this LCB keep running back like this? Can anyone help me on this one?

More or less this. He needed to pass a vision check to see the run. He never did and being far away from the ball only exacerbated the issue.

I've seen CB's do that twice this Season and there are supposedly set to -1 Man Coverage Distance?

Well I think the coverage distance just pertains to where they line up at the snap. Dot in that replay is @ -1 and semi aggressive.

The speed to agility ratio is too wide or, vision, or the CB is accelerates much faster than the BTE. Given the age of the Dots, it's likely a build issue.
