I was thinking about the ratings forum that I am working on for the Owners/Coordinators/Gms. and basically I thought that I could maybe tie in another idea I had with it. Basically there are alot of different coalitions, groups or whatever people call themselves on the game. and there are no real good ways to find out just what groups are out there. and how someone could go about trying to join one of the established groups. when me and a couple of friends started the DWO a few seasons back I started trying to compile a running list of all the different groups. and I tried to basically get all the heads or founders of each group at that time into 1 private forum. I wanted to sort of compile a overall listing of the groups. complete with the people running the groups, how non members of those groups could try to become members and who to contact to try to become a member.

I guess I am wondering if I could possibly compile the information and put it in a private forum. if it would be something that potentially would be used by possible new players on the game or maybe even some older agents that their groups had shut down. and guys I know that most people on here already know what groups there are and so on. but I have been on the game a very long time and it seems I see new groups forming each and every season. basically just looking for some feedback on if the idea has any merit or if it would be a total waste of time.

appreciate it. but on a real serious note what would be some information that coalitions would want shared with potential members. or new agents that may be interested in joining a group?

I mean just as a reference would something like the following example work or should I look to add more info?


LexKop Alliance:

founded by ProKop and Lexden in season 34( just made that up I have no idea in reality when you guys started)

the Lexcop alliance currently has 15 members and the group is focused on improving their overall standing in GLB. and winning as many golds from Peewee to WL as possible. for information on the alliance or to learn how to become a member contact ProKop (the agents link would be here) for questions on becoming a member.

and then I would ask that the people running the group would basically put together a 1 pager that gives a brief description of the alliance and the goals. any important information such as a list of members, or a list of teams basically the sky is the limit on what info a group wants to add.

good guess. S35 it was founded and it features just 2 phenomenal members that everyone in the GLB community love. Lexden and myself.

we also dont let anyone else join.

I like the idea hatch. Just need to make sure someone is going to keep on it since coalitions start end all the time. And someone is going to need to check in with coalition on a season by season basis to make sure their information is still the same.
