How do you use a rushing qb in casual, to make sure only the rqb runs and not the passing qb?

I've never gotten the hang of it.

Using the Wildcat preset, set your depth chart like this:

QB = Passing QB
QB1 = Rushing QB - only used for Wildcat preset
QB2 = All QB's - this slot is seldom used for anything but handoffs/pitches
RB = Primary Rusher
RB1 = Power Back/Inside Runs
RB2 = Receiving/Scat Back
FB = Primary Rusher
FB1 = Blocker
FB2 = Receiving/Scat Back
TE/TE2 = Receiver
BTE/TE1 = Blocker

The Preset AI is pretty mediocre, but it's the only way to use both QBs properly in the same game.

gen. opinion - rushing QB is the worst thing that's ever happened to this game. It doesn't resemble any level of fooball anymore. It's just QBball when you're on a team w/a rushing QB. Maybe QBs should also be better return men and offensive linemen than the position players too... you could just have a whole team of QBs (300 flex per boost per player... what's not to like?)

Best way to use them is to have it set 100% run, 100% QB, 100% outside, you'll gain 500-700 yards rushing with you're QB alone, still pass the ball, the HB will still get carries.

Wildcat really sucks in casual, don't let people fool you.

or if you do have a passing QB (in addition to the rushing QB) the wildcat preset is the only way to use both in the same game

but yeah CyberNinja is right, it's not the greatest preset

I beg to differ.....http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1646

1st in total offense
3rd in passing yards
2nd in rushing yards
1st in TD scored

We use the Wildcat, and we have both a passing QB & a rushing QB

Half the teams in that Conference are non-boost

And if my grandma would've had nuts, she would've been my gay 2nd grandpa....not the point I was trying to make. The point I was trying to make is that it IS possible to have a great offense using the Wildcat in Casual. It all depends on the builds and how they fit into your game plan. Our roster consists of a passing QB, rushing QB, Power HB, Scat HB, Blocking FB, Rushing FB, Scat FB, Power TE, Receiving TE, and WR's that are Possession based as well as Speed based. If you know how to use the depth chart in the way it was meant to be used and not try to out-think it, it can actually be VERY successful if you have the right build plans.
