alot of people have seen the old ratings forum that StevenJ used to run. well that forum has basically stopped being used for the most part. I would like to try to resurrect that forum and get it to the point of being useful again. the way the old forum was set-up anyone in the forum could bring another agent up for discussion. basically alot of people used that forum to gather info about a potential owner or coordinator. they were looking at possibly working with on the game.

the forum basically would give anyone that had a negative comment the opportunity to voice their side of story. would this be a forum that some of you may try to use in the future or am I wasting my time thinking about resurrecting this once useful forum?

Probably just gonna get trolled, tbh.

But that's Obama's fault. Or Dubya's.

very much true and that is one thing that I figured may hurt the forums activity. but on the flip side there are alot of different owners playing the game now. that weren't owners when StevenJ had his forum going. I had thought of possibly trying to move alot of the information in StevenJ's forum. over to the new one I am thinking of doing but that would take a while to do. and also alot of the info in StevenJ's forum is on a spreadsheet I can't pull anything from. so maybe it would be better to possibly start fresh with the new forum.

I think with a group of people who rate based on their observations and messages from others. Kind of like that old team rating thingy someone had for the WL, was that Bhall.

i think it would be pretty cool to see. of course rating should be based off of level of competition and wins is the easiest way that i could think of.

I am not sure if I ever saw the thingy you are referring to. if someone knows of what Dr.E is referring to or can post a link I would like to check it out to get some ideas.

completely agree. but not sure how exactly I can get a ratings done without input from others about their experiences with the person being rated.

I would imagine owners would give their coordinators ratings. each coordinator starts off with 100 points and needs 100 pts from each owner they coordinate for to maintain that balance. anything less than 100 will be the new rating. or it could have a % effect on the coordinators rating based off of how many teams that individual coordinates for. something like that.

this way your basically known for the trail you leave behind

People can pm you (or another mod) to post a user in the forum. People can then post their comments on them and the mod locks the thread after a week and summarizes the comments.

Or just have people rate and average.

I think that each individual can keep update their own page. just have to go by the honor system. if someone is found to intentionally falsifying stats they'll be kicked from the thread and they're name's will go on the wall of shame

this is sort of where I am at for the most part right now. I am trying to figure a rating system though something like 1-100 or 1-10 and then after the agent has been in discussions for a week or maybe even 2 weeks. lock the thread and add all the socres together and then simply divide the score by the number of ratings. this would give everyone a overall score that would reflect their success or failures.

Some already know who the good coordinators are. The owners that don't wouldn't be able to sign them on anyway.
