Now, I know these sort of things are done by design, but this one seems a little over the top.

WR1 makes his "hard cut" which I'm assuming is that innate ability all dots have and causes the CB to bounce back about 5 yards. Now I know these things are supposed to happen, but doesn't this seem like a bit much? Or is this typical because of rookie level?

I still feel like that force field bounce is messed up. shooting back that far doesn't really make sense.

Damn you Bort!

Didn't pass the vision check to see the cut in any sort of appreciable time, and didn't have enough agility to slow down quickly, and eventually change direction. It's unavoidable at rookie, only real way to cover it is to have a safety in a zone over top... but even that is a crapshoot in rookie.

Not really a bounce. Think about what happens in real life if you turn your hips, start running, and then the receiver just stops. Now, think about what happens if it takes you a split second longer to realize the receiver stopped, and then your agility is SO bad that it takes you another few steps to even slow down enough to change direction.

That's what's happening.

Not only rookie.
Even when you have 85+ vision and agility, you still watch your cb and lb can't follow WR/ TE/ HB/ FB.
Build problem?
Come on, it's just Bort want to see cool passing game.

It's this; But, I play DB in real life and if you don't have great agility/vision this will happen. In GLB it should stop at higher levels but it really only just becomes a "lesser problem"

1st part true, last part partially true.

lol yes, when I saw my WR do that, I think it's pretty cool.

That doesn't look like the typical hard cut bounce. On that play it looks more like the CB failed a vision check and kept going the same direction the WR was going and couldn't recover in time. Honestly I found the defenders taking each other out of the play more troubling.

One could suspect that the WR "pushed off" and wasn't flagged for the infraction by the official....

Yeah I wish they would fix that, defenders tripping and falling over each other should be extremely rare, instead it seems to happen everytime they chase the BallCarrier down from behind at all levels.

This season? I haven't seen it much at all since the July 17th update. If you're still seeing that consistently I'll see if we can get Catch22 to open a thread in the Bugs forum to document them.
