why are only certain plays highlighted? when my HB gets the ball, shouldnt it be bolded like the other ones?

I thought it was just "big" plays that were highlighted, not "your" plays. And "big" plays can include plays that were big for anyone on the play.

4 yard gains on first down are big?

You get bolded plays for other things too, like pancakes and revcakes(not sure on revcakes), missed tackles as well

If he only got 4 yards on first down, he probably broke a tackle.

It will also register a top play if he allowed a sack or a hurry, even if he didn't get the ball.

General top play for a HB = X yards gained, broken tackle, pancake, fumble, allowed sack or hurry, TD, or fumble recovery.

Yes and no. While I agree that the "Quality" plays should be bolded so you can easily see them... not every play is worthy of a view. A Returner making a fair catch isn't a "quality play"... but if he returns one for 20 yards, absolutely.
Still, I have noticed that sometimes even some plays of equal value get different treatment. Like a HB runs for 12 yards on one play and it's highlighted... but later he runs for 13 and it doesn't? It doesn't happen a LOT... but it happens enough it makes me scratch my head in confusion.

You're right Theo;
Basically every play where your dot "Did something" good or bad, will be highlighted

Not quite. See my post.

Example: WR makes an 8 yard catch and is tackled. Not highlighted.
Example WR makes an 18 yard catch and is tackled. Highlighted.

its just weird how my powerback can run 10 yards and it wont get highlighted but if he breaks 5 tackles and gains 4 yards, itll be highlighted. oh well, GLB life i guess.

Might be a script thing because plays where my players are involved are all highlighted whether its a gain or loss of yards.
