i'd like to see a fix to the way two players can have significantly different amounts of XP and VXP depending on whether the team they were on played even or odd days in their first two or three seasons.

it seems like since the advent of age-based leagues and the change to where you get XP no matter how much you play when you are on a roster, this problem could have been fixed easily by just having each player gain the same amount of XP every other day during the season rather than tie it to a particular game (as long as they are on a roster).

id rather all leagues of the same level play on the same day.

WL/reg pro/natty minor/ uni/rookie all play on even
pro/semi pro/reg minor/prep/peewe all play on odd

or vice versa.

Yeah, would make the tournaments for the lower levels fair.

Probably should've done it this way since the beginning. Problem is, such a big change to the way XP is handed out at this point would run the risk of throwing off build-plans for existing players. So...

it could probably easily be put into effect on for players born on X date and later or something.

but PK's idea is fine with me... similar result.

Just give every player their weekly XP on odd days. No one needs to worry what league they are in, and it is simple so that everyone can understand it.

Probably has to do with load balancing. You would need to manually define age brackets to even/odd days each season based upon the number of teams in each age group. You could probably get close with an automated process but not exact (at least not consistently).

That said, I would much prefer all teams of the same age playing on the same day.

their is a way to balance they can look at the leagues and adjust we all know wl pro rookie and pee wee are all heavily filled leagues so load accordingly

they have the technology just are too lazy to act on it. this actually makes sense god forbid they do something to actually improve the game

No doubt it can be done. I've written processes to handle similar requirements. There are variables that need to be considered that can make it very complex but doable.

Would this also eliminate the issue with trades and "team sold so dot transfers mid season" issues with lost (temporarily) XP?

If all games were played on the same day and trades aren't executed until rollover, then yes. I guess the only exception would be if Regional Pro/National Pro/World League were playing on different days but most dots in Regional Pro/World League are already at level 79.
