I know salary really doesn't mean much, but some people still think it does. This would give an incentive for human players to sign with human owned teams. If nothing else, it would look like a CPU team gives crap pay, making a human team more attractive. With regards to a CPU team in the human leagues, when that team is purchased, a new contract with the minimum salary is automatically send out to all human players on said team.
