I'm the DC for a Casual team (KCCO MOAR http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1533), and I've run a 4-3 since taking over 2 seasons ago. But for some reason in our preseason game yesterday, the sim PREDOMINANTLY ran a 3-4 (game link: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=2393632). And the only reason I found out about it was because 2 of our DT's asked me about their lack of playing time in the game. So I looked at the replay, and out of 77 Defensive snaps, we only ran a 4-3 defense 17 times! The other 60 plays were a 3-4, even though my tactics & depth chart were set to a 4-3...Wtf?!? Anyone else seen anything happen like this?

The team you played passed 52 times compared to only 14 rushes. Are you sure it was 3-4 or 3 down linemen nickel and dime packages? If that was what was going on, you'll need to adjust your depth chart to make sure all DTs get in the NT spot.

I obviously didn't watch the whole game but did a cross section and saw an awful lot of nickel and dime, not 3-4.

I wish Casual had a way to override that for Nickel & Dime situations...I'd rather have 4 D-Linemen & one less LB than one less D-Lineman & 1 more LB


But I guess that's why they call it Casual
