my lvl 79 SS has a combined Str of 90 after all bonuses incl VA
His current agility is at 85.5

I created him as a HH SS.. but lately he isn't causing much FF.. i am also not sure if the +3.5 VA has any effect on causing more FF. I am contemplating moving the VA from Workout Warrior to a different VA.
his current VAs are power tackler, sure tackler, textbook tackler and track star and workout warrior. Should i move points out of +STR(workout warrior) in to a different one? which one would be the most beneficial?

i was thinking:
ball hawk
quick
soft hands (his catching is at 50)

No Soft Hands

What is his tackling attribute? That plays a big role in FF's. I'm not sure agility plays any role in it, and 85 natural is good enough for HH SS imo , no need for Quick either.

With 87 str, and 85 agi, I'm worried your tackling may be low.
As Bane said, tackling plays a large role in FF's.

If your dot plays ST's, add the Special Teamer VA, the 15% boost to all atributes during ST's is huge and will help you get FF's on ST's at least.

Don't do quick or soft hands. You don't need any more agility, like Bane said, for an HH SS, and soft hands will do nothing for you as you probably will see no measurable increase in interceptions as it will only amount to about a 3 point increase in catching, which is not much when that low.

^ plus 50 catching is PLENTY to make INT's in the current sim

His tackling is 89+ 6 from VA

so consensus is leave it in Str or move to Special Teamer if he plays on special teams?

I didn't say more catching wouldn't help, I said 50 I plenty to make them. Having VA's in Soft Hands with 50 catching ain't gonna help get any more INT's .

Plus aint nobody talked about an INT built CB itt , was about a HH SS. So bugger off Jampy

I have always been a fan of LongReach myself..and 3rdDownStopper if dot is a starter. I wouldn't bother with WW or Quick on that dot myself...but maybe you should check with jampy

You should just post the build, the current VA's, and SA's, we'd be able to make suggestions a lot faster.

What is his weight?

DvG is great on low weight guys or against all high strength builds.

You might also want to consider clutch, streaky, slow starter, overtime killer, 3rd Down Stopper, and maybe RZF or Goalline Stand.

If you don't care about pass deflections at all, I would still add 1 point in OTK and GLS. Streaky will give you an extra 6% on good days and lose 3% on bad days. Good days you will get much higher tackle scores and probably break the no fumble rolls better than you would with any of the others. On bad days you won't force any, but on good days you will force a lot more.

I'd like to hear why and what would be better advice.
