Hello, I have a question about rookie leagues....how do they work? Like are they the same as other teams like casual and the others? I'm sorry, but I recently just came back to GLB last month after a 3.5 year hiatus haha and i remember the basic of GLB, but all this new stuff confuses me

First of all, just to be clear, Rookie and Pee Wee are NOT THE SAME THING.

Rookie is just the lowest rung on the normal league ladder. There are Rookie Casual teams and there are Rookie Normal teams. During the offseason, Rookie teams can only sign dots that are 0 days old, and at the end of the season a Rookie team will promote up to Prep, the next age-tier, and will keep promoting all the way up to Regional/National Pro unless they get sold or reset along the way.

Pee Wee is entirely different... Pee Wee teams can only sign dots that are Level 1, and at the end of each season, each Pee Wee team's roster is completely emptied out. Pee Wee teams can promote from Copper to Silver to Gold based on the prior season's performance, but they still have to empty out their roster and start over every season with a fresh slate of Level 1 dots even if they've promoted up.

Also, as I told someone else in another thread...

1.) You've missed a lot. Read the Changelog and the Announcements. They'll summarize things better than any of us can.

2.) Congratulations! You've timed your return for the offseason, the perfect time to come back!

You can build a dot any time between Day 40 and Day 48... all dots created during the offseason receive retroactive Training Points as if they'd all been created on Day 40, so go ahead and build any dots you want to build right now.

And I think that covers everything. Welcome back!
