Height: 66in. (5'6")
Weight: 180lbs

Strength: 6
Blocking: 6
Speed: 147.11 (+44)
Tackling: 8
Agility: 90.11
Throwing: 8
Jumping: 18.17
Catching: 68.11
Stamina: 38.17
Carrying: 67.11
Vision: 55.17
Kicking: 8
Confidence: 20.17
Punting: 8

CEQ - +6 speed, Break tackle chance +6%, +1 to Elusive Back tree
AEQ - +11 speed, +5 Juke SA (240), +11 speed, Catch ball chance +11% (240), Fake chance +5% (0)

I'm finished with speed and agility and am currently working on getting catching to the 77 cap. I figured carrying would finish around 80 and I want to add some strength to prevent KL but know that I won't have much SP to play with if I want to have some for SA's. Where should I go from here in your opinion?

Your carrying and strength is a bit low so i would go with them and let catching be as it is... But it depends what the team wants, i just dont think a HB needs a lot of catching because most are pretty short throws, my elusive HB with 71 catching has done pretty well with only 3 drops last season from 84 catches

Agree with kakashi, I do. Consult with your OC to find out what kind of passes your scatback is going to be mostly involved with. There are a few out there that want the HB to be a 6th receiver... going mid length routes and deep often... then there are the rest that usually throw short passes such as screens and flat routes. If your OC want lots of the deeper type, you could take it up some more or even use your regular EQ (figuring on, at most, a 4 AEQ dot, that still leaves you with 1 free regular EQ) to put into catching rather than spending more SP's. And more carrying and more strength is a definite must. (Also might try to get confidence to at least 40 for OTK).

I don't envision him being used much as a HB and was leaning more towards the '6th receiver' as you don't really find too many pure scatbacks out there. I imagine it has to do with the cost to build them and wanting statistical results and that's why they're built more well-rounded to be used as a rusher as well. Nonetheless, I appreciate the advice and will heed it for the most part. If catching will get the job done at 71ish then I will stop with catching at this point and move to carrying and trying to get strength to at least the first cap. Theo, do you suggest 40 confidence purely on the idea of being able to use OTK as a VA or is there more to it than that. Like I said, I don't plan to use him as a rusher much and thus do not really see a need to use OTK as he shouldn't exasperate that much energy like HB's normally would.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2578179 - Heres a look at 1 of mine, who i would say has had pretty good success at the wl level for 3 seasons now. I believe you cant really have both (rusher/receiver) and be good at it, so pick 1 and stick with it. In your case, you want to be the 6th receiver, so i would suggest higher catching, i would say 83+ range would be enough probably, you just want to win those 1v1 roll's vs the lb's most of the time. I think your carrying is more than fine, id leave it as is. I dont like your BT% pieces because , even if you cap strength, thats really not enough to warrant a piece thats barely going to fire for you. Id get vision to end over 61+. and make good use of fakes instead, disregard spin also, thats just my 2 cents.

Nice dot. That makes sense to bring catching up to win the rolls. I think I will go that route. He will end up with 22.5% in fake and as far as I know, BT is involved in fake rolls or vice versa so I figured the gain from 12% BT would be worth more than that extra 3% for FC. I figured Spin wouldn't be worth the investment over the other fakes so thanks for confirming that.

BT% isnt involved with fakes, its involved with spin/hurdle/lts/power thru/stiff arm

Dually noted. In that case should I attempt to get strength a little higher than you normally might to take advantage of the 'mistake' or would it take too much away from something more important?

Well obv its CE, so you can spend a lil flex and change it lol (the BT% that is). Well imo you either have to go all out for a BT build or a fake build, being your already going do drop alot of pts into catching. With strength being as low as it is, id be hesitant to try to get it to higher than first cap, your really not going to break that many tackles, it will help to not get KL as much tho. Id train it as much as you can, possibly cap it, but id go the fake route, with vision already pumped.
