I always loved whiners like the op - hopefully this 56 man team just ruined your season, clearly the reason the op has never accomplished anything on this game, or in life - he'd probably be a major leaguer if his little league coach didn't hold him down

I think the key is, you have to make a trade for more than you are giving up... 1 for 2, or 1 for 3.

Then you can hold that extra spot for 7+ days or even until the end of the season.
Try it, see what you can get.

Might be able to do it a few times and have a 60 roster team
