Run a couple of different early-build plans through the VPB and figure it out! It'll help you learn more about build-planning in general, and help you better understand why different techniques work the way they work.
I've come to the conclusion myself that jdbolick's plan for 0.5-ALG dots is generally the best way to go, but I also got the sense that there are specific examples and situations where sometimes it's not. Sometimes, ya just gotta run some builds through the VPB and figure it out for yourself, and I think this is one of those times.

I tell you "VPB VPB" because it's quite useful, and there's no substitute for it. There just isn't.
For better or worse, this game is meant to be played on a PC. If you want to play it on an iPhone, that's fine, but you'll be missing out on things by doing so... including GreaseMonkey scripts. And getting snarky about it, bro, really isn't going to make the rest of us want to do things for you that you could be doing yourself if you were on a PC.
EDIT: PC, or a Mac, or whatever. A full-sized computer or tablet that can run a browser and GreaseMonkey.

Didn't mean to start a dog-pile, guys. If he wants to play on an iPhone, there's nothing wrong with that. He just needs to understand he's limiting his own capabilities in the game by doing so.
