Which is more effective, user friendly, entertaining, time consuming, and all around better?

I at one time used presets for many teams, only have recently stuck with defaults on a few, but wanted to get an idea from the user base as to what they thought the pros and cons are for both.

Well Presets allow you to use position specific players the right way.

Default doesn't.

That should tell you all you need to know.

i think you can make the presets kind of fit around your personnel. you can use who you want when you want?

I heard presets can randomize your depth chart

This, and depending on certain teams, presets imo can lock in certain AIs and DCs that are more beneficial against one team vs. another.

Presets are geared more for serious game to game planning

Don't think I would call Presets "serious". They are just meant to use the Archetypes in the way they were meant to be used. Default forces you to either build around a really simple concept or build combination players at all positions.

In a way you could say Default is the "serious" one.

read somewhere that your preset should have Slot Machine VA or gtfo

preset offenses are a modified version of regular offenses in which a team can use their custom slots within their depth charts.

some preset offenses do a better job with down and distance than others.
it's up to you to figure out which is more efficient and effective each match-up.
