We lost 38-21.. We had more offensive yardage then them and it looks like we outplayed them.. but we lost by 17.

My fault or were we going to lose regardless?

I know; I showed the summary for a reason. I'd assume someone would look at that, then the box score. lol

...and looking at the game, the reason they had less offensive yardage than you is because 2 of their TDs came on Punt Returns.

Not surprising, considering they had you outleveled by 3 levels.

You looked pretty competitive for being out-leveled. Learn what you can from this game and move forward.

Actually, just checked your roster, and it's riddled with CPU dots. You're gonna want to get human dots if at all possible. Even a terrible human dot is usually gonna do better than any CPU dot.

Go raid CPU teams and D-League teams for dots. Do it. Right now. Don't be picky... just get humans.

24 pass attempts to a level 7 speed WR probably didn't help you any.

fwiw, I'd put your WR at punter and set hang time to max.

your punter averaged 19.5 YPP, and their return man averaged 18.3 per return. so you netted a whopping 1.2 yards on average and gave up 2 PR TDs.

if you use a severe out-of-position-penalty (OOPP) for your punter he'll only boot the ball maybe 8 or 9 yards, and with max hang time, their return man will always call for a fair catch.

this. plus isn't there some kind of general penalty for using more than X # of CPU players (beyond them just sucking)?

More then 10 I think, not sure what the penalty is though

It's not too bad cause I have more then 10 CPU players on my team and I'm 4-1
