If D players cost what O Linemen do I think it would be a fair balance. Lots of games just look like arena football now.

Myself and others have been screaming for DTs to cost 100 flex for quite some time now.

It's not Bort's fault, dude. Baseball brain trust turned a blind eye to steroids... why? Because homers are what the fans like. Listen to real football games and everyone whines when it's a huge defensive struggle... saying negative stuff about offensive ineptitude rather than praising the high quality of defense. I've stopped playing lots of EA sports games and other electronic games simply because it gets boring to score 255 in football, 50-0 in baseball, and shoot 48 under in Tiger Woods. I'm not that damn GOOD! The games are simply designed to the masses love for high scores, offense, and ease of playing.
I suspect the main reason defense even gets ANY love here is to keep games from ending 255-255. Few here are the lovers of great defenses. While you can find threads about fixing the defense, most threads are about offensive plays. And most "look at what my player does" threads are about offensive plays/players. There's a 75+ yard TD thread... there isn't a "game ending interception" thread. We love action and scoring and that kinda stuff as humans. We're not nearly interested in a 3-0 football game as we are 55-48. Bort is simply being human and listening to humans tell him how to be better at it by making sure the offense always outshines the defense.

Everybody complained about the game being too boring a few months back when scores were in the ballpark of normal.
