^See title. I understand that most people are already committed, but come on it seems like no one is willing to take a job after the season has started.

Your team is a PeeWee team. -1.
Your team is a PeeWee Gold team. -1.
It's midseason. -1.
You have some boosted players, some partially boosted players, and some unboosted players on your PeeWee team. -1.
You have players with open builds. -1.

Taking a job mid-season would be quite a challenge... you'd literally have to hit the ground running.

To do it right, taking over as a new coach just takes time. You have to analyze the dots you have, figure out if the depth chart needs to be adjusted, tweak your AI to be able to make the best use of the players on the new team. And mid-season, you simply don't have that time, because the next game is 48 hours away -- if not sooner. So while you're getting settled into your new job, you have meaningful games coming up fast.

Taking over a team during the off-season is just easier. You have way more time to get everything set up before your first meaningful game arrives. You're able to cut and recruit players more easily, something that is very difficult to do mid-season. And you can ask people to reset VAs and Eq, which isn't possible at all mid-season.

No smart coach would want to take over a team mid-season. And quite frankly, you shouldn't want any coach who is willing to try, because they're probably too dumb to realize what a monumental and hopeless task they're taking on, and people like that tend to be bad coaches anyway.

So, yeah. Should probably try to recruit your coaches during the offseason.

Because its hard enough to coordinate for your own team and going the work for others with no real financial gain seems pointless

Because they cheat at Hide and Seek?

Because I have never cared enough to apply what I know when I do actually have enough motivation to coordinate.

This, all the good ones are either doing the work for their own teams or are commited already. That and there are very few people with the patience to coordinate low level dots.

I've seen times when I thought of offering before, when someone was asking...... only to see that the other team was a competitor of one of my current teams(in league, conference, or tourney), so thought it was best not to offer.

Finding good coaches is always going to be hard if you have never done anything to prove you deserve them.
