so, I've bought this team. got a couple of guys with me, and tried to update depth chart, but whenever I hit the "update" button my browser freezes. tried it with IE, iron(chrome) and firefox.. I tried the workaround (auto reorder before hitting update), didn't work.

solution? thanks a lot.

Go to the special teams and hit auto update.

What's happening is that the special teams is out of whack and is trying to put something like 900 players in position so it crashes or forces an error. Auto update with alieviate the issue and give you full control over your depth chart.

Click Auto-reorder. Resume editing the depth chart.

Go ahead and say it, if for no other reason than to make sure the n00b doesn't think you're facepalming him.

It's not a bug, Novus, it's a rite of passage. Everyone who buys a new team has to go through it. No exceptions.

Just think of it as Bort's version of taping users to the virtual goalposts and making them sing the fight song of their alma mater (junior high school).

You know I never knew the alma mater from my school, I remember every year we used to get a paper with the song on it the first day of school, I always threw it out, I think one year I replaced various words with derogatory ones.

Because the Admins want to make the forum busier, what better way then to make new owners create threads asking about the same thing every season.
