This is the first I've posted this, iirc, although I may have posted it before. I honestly don't remember. I'd like to see a few changes made to the VAs and SAs.
Starting with the VAs:
Never Give Up should apply to both pancakes and revcakes and should be usable on both O and D. Furthermore, have it also reduce time spent down from catches/ints/fumbles/etc.
Add a new VA similar to Showboat Blocker for the Defense for revcakes.
Death Grip VA- Add a morale reduction, let's say +1%/level for the time when the player is being dragged. Also, increase the time that the player gets dragged for by +1% per level.
Intimidation VA- Since Aura works on both sides of the ball, make this VA work for both sides as well.
Add a VA similar to Long Reach that allows a 1% chance/level to reroll the int check
Fearsome VA- Make Fearsome work from the CB position
Clever Instincts- Since we're in age based leagues now, either remove all players being treated the same age after 280, or make it based off of fame.
Add a VA opposite Hometown Hero to give a similar boost when on the road.
Add a VA that allows Defensive players an opportunity to reroll fake checks, similar to break tackle checks from Sure Tackler
SAs:
First off, update all the SA descriptions. They need to be updated.
Gang Tackle should be modified to add a drag component to it, making it similar to an actual "gang tackle"
Tone up Hurdle
Make Pancake work for defenders with Revcakes
Tone up Pummel and make it work on both sides of the ball (change breaking a block to engaged in a block)
Severely Tone up Zone Focus to make Zone Defenses somewhat runable as an entire scheme
Tone Up Turn the Shoulder
Tone Up Jump Catch/Diving Catch/ 1Hand Catch
Tone Up Trash Talk/The Glare/Snarl/Growl
Change Absorb Pain to make it so that the defender does not necessarily have to be stronger to reduce the morale/stamina loss
Tone up Smooth Operator
I think that these changes could make the game more fun and add more potentially viable strategies when playing the game. Thoughts?

There's already a buncha VA's for defense on the blocking side... perhaps if you only wanted a little morale hit like SB gives they could tack that onto Heavyweight.
