is their a penalty to having this set when your not is not capable of performing creative route running?

Sort of how level 1 dots would shit themselves if they were caught with super elusive on.

thanks

There is not a penalty per say but they obviously wont be as creative as you would like til they get the vision and agility to where it needs to be.

ok. am I better off setting my WR to creative and just leaving him there,

or is there a bad side to choosing creative early.

Test and it find out. Run some scrims with both settings. That's how you learn

Not sure why you would want to use it unless you had fake skills.

Unless there was a certain route change you needed since that is all Creative does without Fake skills.

Biggest difference I see if that he may not run the route as deep as pre-programmed. Sucks when you have say a 3rd and 5, run a medium drag or something and you come up short of the 1st down because the receiver cut early trying to be "creative".

I've tried creative. Only saw a couple of times where it paid off. WR cut a route to the inside. Most of the time it does more harm than good. Harm in the form of lots of drops and bad throws. I asked Bort about it about 2 Q&A ago and he said it shouldn't work very well with pee wee dots.

The difference is that on creative the WR runs a deeper route. Not that he cuts it off early.

I am not sure why that would matter.

That was before you said you didn't have fake skills.

and you also said this isn't for you so what do your fake skills have to do with it?
