Does seem extreme. What's the salary cap for that team's league? $27,000,000? Perhaps you went over the salary cap on May 9th and GLB decided you needed to pay out the full amount in the remaining 5 days?

idk but our daily salary went from $-577,811.00 to $-579,625.00 from the 26 to the 27

There was a bug report about this last season. Catch's response was contact Support for an explanation.

It could be an issue stemming from when you renegotiated your contracts,

Just as a refresher on luxury tax, it is determined by the following formula: (total amount of luxury tax owed-total amount of luxury tax paid)/number of days remaining in season

If you send out renegotiated contracts at the end of the season that put your team over the salary cap, you will potentially be subject to a very large luxury tax. For example, if you were 21 Million over the cap the formula would look like this: (21,000,000-0)/1 or 21,000,000 if you send contracts on day 40. If you send them at the beginning of the season it would have been: (21,000,000-0)/40 or 525,000 on day 1 On day 2 it would have been (21,000,000-525,000)/39
