If a QB gets sacked in the end zone the defender gets credited with a safety but the sack is not registered in the stats.

Shouldn't the defender also be awarded a sack?

Yes, and yardage gained on a run or a reception that results in a fumble should still be credited to the runner/receiver too, but those official scoring corrections have yet to be made.

Also, after the Safety, there should be a punt, not a kickoff. I am sure this will get the due attention it deserves similar to the other issues with the Sim.

I really was not trying to make a parody either, I wanted to ask this question in that other thread but it got shut down.

I had a defender get a safety this season and it did not give him the sack stat (yes it was a pass play and a sack that the safety play occurred on, QB did not tuck to run either)

Might have cost my player the DMVP (he finished a very close 2nd)

They don't get credited with a sack anyways
