The pHB here clearly goes about 50 yards, but because of the fumble he gets credit for none of those http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2341658&pbp_id=7216983

I saw a guy intercept a pass knocked loose yesterday, but that doesn't count in GLB either.

I know this isn't the NFL, but doesn't the NFL count the yardage on fumble plays?

Always been like that. I posted about it during Season 2, but no one cared enough to fix it. Or, it cannot be fixed.

from what I am aware of from past discussions it was designed this way, so if you want your player to win most rushing yards, make sure he has good hands

The statement "make sure he has good hands" is exponentially more important for so many other aspects of a HB. In fact the absolute least important thing that it affects is the marginal yardage gained before a fumble.

If a dot coughs the ball up all the time then he is not going to be on a good team. If he is not on a good team then he will not be able to win most rushing yards anyways so it is irrelevant. Seems like a cop out, I see no reason why this should not be exactly like the NFL.
