Similar to the way players earn bonus tokens over a period of time this idea allows you to earn 'Ownership Tokens' for continually owning your team season after season.

Let's say that each season you are awarded 5 ownership points. Here are some of the things you could purchase with them:

5 points - One Free Regular Promotion
10 points - One Free Premium Promotion
15 points - Heal 5 Chemistry Points
20 Points - Heal 10 Chemistry Points
30 Points - Heal 15 Chemistry Points
40 Points - Heal 20 Chemistry Points
50 Points - Heal 25 Chemistry Points

So if you owned a team for 10 seasons, you could get a 25-point Chemistry Heal. Think of it as having the stability and infrastructure in place needed to overcome what would normally be a devastating chemistry hit due to a ton of turnover.

Players believe in the owner so they bond together more quickly.

I am sure there are other ideas on what Ownership Tokens could be spent on.

Thoughts?

This would add a bit of math as well figuring out the best time to apply the chemistry heal.

This also encourages people to keep their teams and adds more history to the game.

You could save your points for that tough jump from regional pro to Nat Pro. Or the even more difficult jump from Nat Pro to the WL.

I actually kinda like this idea. Maybe add a caveat that if a team guts (for example, less than 25 non-CPU dots on any day between day 1 and day 40) all accumulated ownership tokens are lost?

Great idea, imo

Sure there would need to be some thought but into how teams reset, like AirMcMVP mentioned, but the idea itself is pretty damn good.

Not sure the promotions are worth even doing since at some point you have so much money you don't even care.

A team could use ownership points early on in the minors while stockpiling cash for stadium construction? Most teams would let them build up to enhance chemistry but I'm sure some wouldn't.

I guess that makes sense. Plus they should have to earn the chem tokens on the way up. So +1.
