I understand ya. This happens to many who build Power receivers. Where I think you went wrong (that is, IF you wanted a receiver more than a blocker); Too much in blocking. If you could've spread out his blocking points into Jumping and Vision... even increase his height next time... you'd have a TE that could catch balls in traffic and, perhaps... with the right AEQ, SA's and VA's, break tackles after the catch for extra yardage. I'm not near as worried about his lack of confidence as you are... but it could be a bit higher. Speed, for a Power receiver, isn't something you're going to end up with a LOT of. You have enough for sure.
