Trying to move some dots around on rosters and I sent extensions out to entire team. Why can't you move dots that only sign extensions during the season? I understand a dot that is new to the team but this makes 0 sense.

I think it's probably too late in the season to cut a dot anyway. Don't the roster's freeze at a certain point?

I believe this was originally done to keep people from doing extentions for equipment then getting cut and moving to another team

That's what I am having to do but I could cut and sign both dots today and not have to mess with it in the morning. Just a hassle that shouldn't be one.

Part of it is also to keep folks not making playoffs from cutting dots and saving on the salary for the rest of the season.
