4 or 3 aeq? I've already rolled a 5% fake piece should I grab it?

What do you already have?
I like to go 3 AEQ, usually Spin + Break + Fake and then either Break or Fake CEQ. You can also go with Break + Break + Fake + Fake CEQ.

If you rolled that naturally and you haven't bought any other AEQ yet, I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I think putting 1 AEQ into spin can be a good move because it costs a lot to get it up with SP.
but then you are sacrificing some sort of roll% so you have to decide

Break + Fake + Spin + Break CEQ
The break tackle side is just so much more important in this sim than the fake side.

Agreed on the break tackle % side of things. One power back I know took two brTk pieces and in combination with +10 power SA's with +100 str it's just insane how many brTk's he's pulling off.

I get the idea... but doesn't BT work off of Strength as much as, if not more than, Agility? Or at least require decent strength to make it work well? While I'm building my first of 2 (or more) EHB's, I keep thinking about my returners and how BT worked better when their strength got higher later in the build.

Obviously Break tackle % is going to get better as you bring your break tackle skills higher.
The idea is that break tackling is a much bigger element to the game right now than faking when carrying the ball.

Well yeah, in conjunction with the SAs, I agree. However, there are some super high speed and agility backs with good vision that fake the shit out of the initial tackler, leading to home runs.
Obviously, the build matters and should be focused on something.

eh...i mean elusives really just aren't very good all around right now regardless. But the sim is geared more towards breaking tackles at the moment rather than faking on any carrying/post route situation. There is a reason why Elusives aren't doing very well right now and it is because fakes aren't omg great.

How about a high str lower vision elusive with more bt than fake?

No elusive build is really doing all that great at the upper levels against decent competition. People are starting to figure out the pitch plays to the point where breaking tackles is the big game changer. Not to say they don't have their place though. They definitely come in handy on some plays.
