So about a year ago I thought it would be bad ass to make a couple of dots that used BTs to buy Skill Points for an entire career. My plan was to train on light for a bunch of seasons and rack up the Skill Points. These dots would have no AEQ or SA's. I chose bTE and G because no matter how shitty the builds turned out, I figured there would always be a team to sign them. That part turned out correct actually.

Pros:
Kick ass lol bars and effective levels

Cons:
Terrible SP Value
Lower main attribute
Later in career relegated to back up only roles on the depth chart
First question every new owner asks is "Are you going to buy AEQ?"

So in short. Don't do this. Save your BTs and buy AEQ...at least three.

True but it's still a tactic that has it's place (s'pecially in PeeWee leagues). I'm guessing you spent your BT;s as you went along to get to ALG's faster. I'm not sure that works entirely well that way. It's a good thing (maybe) to use, along with boosts, to hit caps (sometimes... or if you're not going to get 3 AEQ at least)... but I think (not entirely sure but have my suspicions based on personal experience) you get a bigger bang for your BT's by doing it at plateau rather than doing it all along the way.
All that said, I still think going NO AEQ just won't really work out. You got to have at LEAST 2 pieces, fo shizzle.
