Currently their is a limit on the # of insta scrims you can do a day. (8 is max)

Why? Do you not want my flex?
This is the best time for people to fix stuff for their AIs.

Sure 64 games during preseason is enough,
but I think this rule should apply to only to Regular season/playoffs.

It might be a way from keeping someone from sucking your flex dry with instascrim spam.

But now that you brought that up,
who besides the owner has the authority to schedule a instascrim?

Probably couldn't hurt to revisit some of these limits. I know they're concerned about Team A spamming Team B with a bunch of instra-scrims just to maliciously eat up all of their available scrim slots, but there are other ways to curb that problem without a blanket cap on all insta-scrims.

Agreed. Maybe put a limit in place on the number of scrims against the same team, but yeah, if you want to scrim 16 different teams over the course of the day, and you're willing to pay the Flex for it, why not?

I thought if someone insta scrimmed your team they paid the entire 50 flex, only time you split cost 25/25 was for scheduled scrims/challenges?

I'm not sure... there've been times when I've insta-scrimmed a team and paid 50, and other times I've insta-scrimmed a team and only paid 25. I have no idea how that works.

If you insta scrimm a team that hasnt used their 2 free scrimms yet it it uses one of their freebies, plus yours. If they dont have any free scrimms left, you pay the entire 50

it's almost surely a cap to limit/control server resources. as such, i doubt it changes - primarily cuz the load is usually only high in the preseason.

conversely, you could keep it capped in the preseason and open it up more in the reg season. if folks are truly using it for game planning i guess.
