Thinking of trying my hand at building a pass-blocking OT, and while researching potential bonus SAs, I came across this one:

Spot Blitz
This FB is adept at spotting blitzing players. The Spot Blitz skill gives him a bonus to blocking blitz plays.

Catch verifies in this thead ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3868766 ) that it works for all players, including OTs. And in a Q&A thread last year, Bort further explained, "It applies a bonus on the pre-snap blocking setup vision checks AND gives a bonus to blocking blitzers."

Anyone have any luck with taking Spot Blitz up to, say, 10 on a pass-blocking LOT? Or does it lead to lulzy results like the LOT focusing on the blitzing ROLB and the LG picking up the DT, leaving the RDE untouched?

Yes it works. For pass blocker build/run arch you may way want to try quick cut or balance depending on movement skills. Pass block build/pass block arch works good as spot blitz and good movement skills actually allows you to get to the blitzer

it is strangely worded:

"adept at spotting" would imply a bonus to vision / vision checks on a blitz

"bonus to blocking blitz plays" would imply a bonus to, well, blocking


is it both, either ...
