In order to have 2 passing QBs pass and 1 rushing QB only rush how would you set that up on the depth chart and in the AI...I'm debating on whether or not to keep one deep passer and one pocket QB...I'm definitely keeping the rQB

There is 3 different QB slots so seems pretty easy.
You can either put each one in a different slot of use 2 Passing QB's in one slot. A specific Pass QB in another slot. and then the RQB.
That being said seems like a large waste of a roster spot to have the second passing qb.

I guess I just assumed that "QB" is all of the QBs and "QB1" "QB2" were just to separate them..idk
Right now my dpQB is on top, so is that considered "QB"?

And with my rQB in the second spot is that considered "QB1"? All of his rushing plays are set to "QB2" and are working the way it is set up.
Or are we talking custom slots here, sorry for the noobness...I just want to get this right.

As bhall was explaning, the generic QB slot can be used the same exact way you use a custom slot in the AI. There's no difference. You don't need to put them all in the generic QB slot.
Your slots would look something like this:
Generic QB slot: Pocket QB
QB1: Deep Passing QB
QB2: Rushing QB
Your AI would then specify which QB slot you want for each scenario.

QB1 and QB2 are custom slots separate of the QB. It allows you to utilize the different QB's if you want by placing 1 QB in the QB spot, 1 QB in the QB1 spot and another QB in the QB2 spot.
How your AI is set up determines which QB goes to which spot. If your AI says QB2 is a rusher than you put our rushing QB in the custom slot QB2. If your AI is set up for QB to pass than put your passing QB in the QB spot. If your AI is set up for QB1 to be passing than put your passing QB in the QB1 spot.
Your depth chart has to match your AI settings.

All the QB's will share time whenever you use just QB.
Devan Duffy will only play when you use QB1.
Kiehl Frazier will only play when you use QB2.
You could change your energy settings so that the top QB on your regular QB slot (the starter) would be forced on 3rd and 4th downs.
