I see this all the time. The WR has a huge cushion and as soon as the QB lets go of the ball the WR comes to a dead stop and loses the cushion. These should be decent gains, instead they are somehow deflected when IRL there is no way the defender should even be an issue.

prolly shouldn't be running a 3 yard route on 3rd and 9 anyway.

What are you talking about? Drop the ball over the shoulder... there's no one in that whole section of the field.

Yeah, that's why I dropped it in the Test server so that maybe someone would look at it.

I'm talking about if you need 9 yards don't trust your QB and WR to connect on that play and pick up a big YAC.

It is the only short route, and it was wide open. You lead the WR and that was an easy first down.
