DE Condensing fact from the vapor of nuance http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2308293&playoffs=0
Pretty impressive build for a 4 AEQ dot, but simply never had the impact that I imagined when I created him. I think I might be done with the Run Stuffer archetype, both because speed rules at DE right now and because the penalized SAs hurt.
DE She killed them with mathematics http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2308325&playoffs=0
Then again this combo DE never really did anything either, so obviously it's simply the way I build them. In particular, I regret putting so much equipment into strength. Bull Rusher supposedly applies to strength from equipment as well, but if that were true then wouldn't they be constantly breaking blocks? My younger DEs are going with all equipment in speed minus whatever I need in agility for Technique Man to fire. And on that note, power pass rushing needs some kind of boost since it no longer appears to be viable. Even if it simply collapsed the pocket slowly, that would be nice.
LB Truck a saurus http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2308391&playoffs=0
Continuing the theme of disappointment, Truck never had the impact I imagined as an "extra DE" off the edge. This is another build where I'm going with equipment in speed to be more disruptive against the run and pass.
SS The Danger Zone http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2308574&playoffs=0
This was a four AEQ build but I had to sell one because I stupidly forgot to get jumping to 40 for Ball Hawk. This build and the next one taught me that you can't skimp on tackling if you expect any FFs and KLs. All that strength was helpful when the SS had to take on TEs & FBs to stop the run, but I needed another ten points in tackling. Plus, going easier in speed would have allowed me to make agility and jumping acceptable.
CB Food Rapist http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2308735&playoffs=0
You can get fumbles and KLs with low 70s tackling if you have super high strength, but I wouldn't recommend it. Better to have the two roughly balanced. This dot never really had a defined role. It wasn't as hopeless as you would have expected in coverage with such low vision, although that did hurt, while it wasn't a great blitzer either. Like the SS, the one nice thing about high strength was that I could blitz him right into the teeth of a sweep and more often than not he'd stay on his feet.
Dots that should be retired but won't be until next season:
QB Tim Tebow's girlfriend http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2307818&playoffs=0
Unfortunately I learned too late from CerNeT how much difference it makes to have a full set of throwing equipment on a dual threat. If you have fake WRs then you this build can pass while still wearing the running kit, but otherwise its only usefulness was to punish teams that didn't bother to cover receivers at all in their rushing QB defenses. Trying to make a dot be good at everything usually means they're good at nothing. Had I not pushed so hard in throwing then perhaps I would have had enough strength to break tackles more reliably. Frankly I want to try a deep passer rusher.
TE Buffy the Vampire Slayer http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2307897&playoffs=0
Believe it or not this is a 4 AEQ dot, albeit one short of the final upgrade. But the equipment was an absolute mess due to poor planning. Yet even with only 54 points in strength, this dot pancaked like a road grader. Lead Block appears to be quite good for a blocking TE. I capped catching because of so many defenses that don't even cover the blocking TE, but it never seemed to make a difference. As you can see, I don't believe that vision is at all important for run blocking. My theory was that low vision would keep the blocker from running off and attacking a defender far from the HB, but whether that's true or not, the lack of vision didn't hurt.
STOP There's a shadow just behind me http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2323344&playoffs=0
Couldn't block or force fumbles well. I should have gone with more tackling and maybe only capped or second capped blocking. The one time being a dominant STOP blocker really helps is if you can get a pancake at SE1 or SE2 on punt returns, otherwise you just need to get in the way long enough for the returner to get by.

Had to get special permission from support for this name, lol. Good lord, none of the dots I built from this generation ended up being worth a damn. Well, they were helpful pieces on a WL runner-up, but I mean none of them individually made a truly impressive impact. That's pretty depressing. *sigh*
