There were aspects to it that was fun. Which is why Bort liked it to begin with I imagine.

It had to go for all the well known reasons.

But it wasn't 100% bad.

I get this. Back in the glory days of D&D, character creation was more than 1/2 the fun. It's the builder/gambler in us, I guess.

If they had put a cap on rolls and not permitted you to retire the day you built then random would matter.

Otherwise it was just a huge waste of resources, especially once the reroller scripts were available.

Sure, if my HB who rolled a 12 Speed had a Flex cost adjustment and cost me only 50 Flex points sure.
