You already have 48 hours, so you want 72 hours? And, I am assume you would want that between every playoff game if you advance, essentially making a 52 day season?
I guess it might be alright, if they shortened the off-season by 4 days. Otherwise, for most, a long season just got longer.

could bump all playoffs to even days, would give half the leagues an extra day and not change the length of season AND make Day 40 universal Championship Day

...and piss off everyone who helps gameplan for multiple teams, as ALL of their games would be on the same day. GLB currently has all of the games for World League AND all of the Pro Leagues all on the same day, and that move was panned by a lot of upper-level people who gameplanned for both a WL team and 1 or more Pro teams.
We want to make things easier on owners and gameplanners, not harder.

...and piss off everyone who helps gameplan for multiple teams, as ALL of their games would be on the same day. no just 1 day before play offs start .season ends 2 days till play offs. then every other day like it is now

Makes no sense, you want an extra day to prep for the easiest playoff game? Don't get me wrong either form is a bad idea. Seasons long enough as it is.
