I do at various stages - esp if I'm all set to train light the rest of the way and then I get lucky at lvl 61 and 71 aeq shopping.

There's a couple of build plans floating around out there that call for a limited amount of Normal training early on, but some people think that's idiotic.

There might be cause for using a little bit of Normal training late in your build to ensure that you top off a training bar that you'd miss if you stuck with Light.

Other than that... I really can't think of a use for it.

Sure, there are plenty of cases where it has some usefulness. I rely on it when I've done a poor job planning my multi-training and need to catch up in one attribute late in the build.

^^This

For instance, when you'll run out of multi's when a skill is at 80% and you don't want to spend 20 1% light trains finishing it off.

4% for three star enhanced attributes in the high 90s is pretty good value, actually. I don't know the exact point, but somewhere around 94 it switches from giving you 3% on light training (really good value) to 1%.

On my 3 AEQ dots I find Normal Training from level 68 onward pretty valuable.

I don't build game breaker dots or anything though.

When I need to roll an attribute over and light training isn't enough to do it.

How did you know this was exactly what I was doing?

Eh, I guess there are more uses for it than I thought then. *shrug*
