If I roll for a piece of AEQ, how long will the roll results be available for purchase? I will be hitting level 41 tomorrow, and would like to roll a couple times, but if I don't have enough BTs to purchase an item that shows up, how long will it stay there?

I don't think there's a time limit, but honestly, I've never paid enough attention to verify that either way.

How many points do you get for the free Equipment towards an ability? Is it 12 fully upgraded plus whatever bonus you get?

Free equipment is +10 fully upgraded. You get no bonus with free equipment.

Actually you can purchase bonuses with your free EQ... you just have to NOT get free EQ until you have enough BT's to purchase the bonuses. I've often thought about doing that but can't seem to pull the trigger on the idea. It turns your "free EQ" into AEQ that you didn't have to pay for or roll for... would seem to be a good thing... but it would mean having NO EQ at all until you were ready to purchase the bonuses for them.

That is simply building all AEQ ...

No since in doing this really. There is no benefit from it, as you will still have to spend the same amount of BT's to upgrade it. This would be a solid idea if you actually saved 30 BT's from an upgrade, but you will still get charged the same BT's. No sense in going multiple seasons with no EQ to do this.

Yes... I know it's building AEQ but where you save is you don't have to buy the EQ first to build it. Once you put on your free EQ, you lose the ability to upgrade it... so when you go to do AEQ (building it), you have to purchase new EQ to build from. At 15 BT's a pop... times 4 pieces... you'd save 60 BT's, Nice... but not a huge savings and that's why I've probably never tried it. But still, I wonder about trying to set up a build plan designed around that idea. By saving 60 BT's worth of "training work" could you tweak out a little extra on the dot? I know your dot would suffer (probably be a backup for the first 3 seasons) for a little while until you could "build" on the free AEQ... but for those that aim to build for the end product more than the start.... It's just a thought. Maybe someday I'll take the time to work the math and see what, if any, gains can be had by doing it that way.

You don't have to spend 15 tokens to buy a piece of equipment to make it your AE. You just build one or shop for it. You dont need to buy equipment first.

If you shop for it you could be right... either that or it's built in as part of the overall cost.(Dunno... would need to ask someone closer to the inside of the game.)
But... If you BUILD it (AEQ), each new EQ piece costs 15 BT's... and that's BEFORE you add any skill upgrades or bonuses.

LOL. That is true until you add in the +3 whatever. It changes from 15 to 50 BTs. No one, and I mean no one, would buy EQ with no attribute, SA, or % upgrades factored in unless they have failed the test to ride the long bus.

That 15 BT is the cost for second basic EQ, man.

This^^^

You only have to pay that 15 if you want a completely basic EQ without +% or +attributes, as soon as you add on a +anything the 15 BT cost is taken out
