I've boosted my guy every season including this one - currently 24 boosts.

He's level 73, which according to the wiki is the highest he can go with only 24 boosts. This explains why he isn't earning XP any more. What comes next? Will he never gain XP again, and the next 6 levels have to come from the next 6 boosts?

If so, was there anything different I could have done? 'Cause he's been left with 50XP, when I'm sure my last guy had like 800 to trade in for SPs/BTs etc.

And when will he stop getting training points?

Sorry for all the questions, but I haven't found a place that adequately explains it...

That does explain when a player stops receiving XP, because it says players will no longer receive XP after day 280, which isn't true. Players can stop getting XP before then.

The days of ending with tons of XP to trade in are long gone. 9 times out of 10 you end with 50 or 0 XP now.

The level caps regulated that 'gaming' to try and end with 900+ XP to trade in.

A lot of the stuff I looked at on here/the wiki is out of date. Okay, so the XP trade-in thing isn't an issue then. Cheers guys.

My guy is 261 days old, when will he stop getting training points? A prior dot of mine is on 80-90% for three major attributes, I don't want the same to happen here.

He will stop getting training points on rollover from age 280 to 281

281 he begins extended plateau, and when extended plateau is over he begins decline but also starts to gain TP's again ( as well as VXP ?? Not completely sure about the VP's)

When he hits 281 days old. Since you made him day 40, you should get training points the entire offseason and preseason that he is 280 days old.

One thing to consider tho...you can rollover the training for any attribute that you are no longer spending SPs on, and the end result is that same as if you wait until he is 280 days old. The only attributes that benefit from waiting to train are those which you are still spending SPs on.

Yes VXP resumes. One of the reasons first season decline is manageable.

Thought so but I have only kept 1 or 2 dots past extended plateau

And I fixed my post you quoted...dots get TP's at age 280 during final off season

Because 3AEQ dots can buy a 4th piece, VXP continues, dots can buy more SPs to use for SAs, and eventually temp boosting: dots can be viable into third decline, but not in WL.

Thanks guys, really helpful

(There's no way of writing it without sounding sarcastic, I am genuinely being grateful - on the internet of all places)

What should dots spend their BTs on?

For example, one of my guys got secondary training for 3 attributes so he could quad train (basically essential in the long run) and got main attributes up to 3-4 stars of training and secondary attributes up to 2-3 stars of training

After that, and spending 125BT (50 for +3 main attribute, 75 for +%) just to buy each peice of AEQ, he then only just had enough to finish his second AEQ.

I might have spent maybe 60 BTs in total on SPs, I only did that to reach caps once or twice. What should I do to get my guy 3AEQs? Even if I didn't buy SPs and spent less on stars of training (i.e. 1-2 for minors and 3 for majors) I still don't think I'd be able to scrimp enough to be able to get 3 fully upgraded AEQs. Does the discrepancy come from light training towards the end of your last season to get that last bit of EQ upgraded? Or can you carry a not-quite-fully upgraded AEQ? Or should I miss out the +3main attribute for 50BTs? SO MANY QUESTIONS!

We have gone off topic...

Well, you'll hear that anywhere between 180 days old and 200 days old you should switch back to light training to accumulate enough BTs to get 4AEQ. The VPB is a great way to time it out halfway through your build.

its tough to get 4AEQ if you wait till Age 200.
If going for 4 pieces, I would start considering around age 160....but not switching to light yet just start considering when the day will be

Add an exclamation mark to the end of your statement! Like this!

Not too many, though, or you will start sounding sarcastic again (Thanks guys, really helpful!!!!!!!!!!)
