Can someone explain to me in plain language why? And If I had boosted at the beginning of the season would he have been given more time to collect XP?

18 boost, Lv67 is your upper limit now.
and maybe yes, if you boost you will across last xp breakdown, your game xp down to 125 so you level up a little slower.

Alright, but he will train til day 281 correct? Had I boosted before start of season he would have earned more days to get XP though? Is that correct?

225 XP I also have boosted, no sence in holding back now. Thought it would help. Guess I was wrong.

I thought we had 7 seasons of XP gain, I know it is somehow related to boosts, but I thought all dots got XP for 7 seasons. whether they boosted or not.
