I have a kicker. Since kicking is my first main and since I intense trained it for a few days, I went a quick three star on it. The rest of the attributes though I'm confused on. Should I be racing for another three star in a 2nd attribute, or should I balance out the stars across the rest of the stats?

You should 3 star your top 3 attributes if not your top 4 attributes. You should have intense trained your main attribute more than a few days. You should be intense training it til it is at like 74 and then multi train with your top 4 attributes.

Yea but when it comes time to 3 star the other attributes after kicking, do I divide the stars between all of them, or do I race to get each separate one to 3-star as quick as possible?

You want to get your 2nd attribute to 3 stars, then your 3rd attribute to 3 stars, and then your 4th attribute. This also helps keep your attributes from hitting the mid 30's at the same time so you can use skill points to cap them at 48 more easily.

I often set training goals, first time 12BT. Then 1 star 2 of the attributes. Set next goal for 18, then 2nd star one of the attributes from before and 1 star the last. Next set for 24BT, at which time I double star the remaining attributes that where only 1 star.

Depending on player position and build/AEQ goals I decide which, if any, of the now 2 star attributes I want to get to 3 stars. For a kicker I may go ahead and get all 3 of those other attributes to 3 stars and I may even consider 5 star Kicking if it was something I unlocked in multi training

I always 3 star that main primary first thing though, everything I just wrote is happening after reaching 3 star on primary

I disagree if you are multi-training, the faster you can stack up the bonuses the better. You'd be better served by spreading it out and going for lowest cost first, for the attributes after the first that you still intend to train for a large amount of times. When you're multi-training 4-way, you could spend the BTs from the first session to 10% attribute #2 and #3. The second session could be to enhance #2 to 20%. Next session #3 to 20%, then #4 to 10%, then #2 to 30%, etc, etc.

Of course, the first attribute should be enhanced to 30% before anything else.

I did that with one dot and it put my attributes around 35-37 around the same time so for maximum training efficiency it kind of screwed me up just a bit. The dots where I did not do it that way hit the 35-37 area in a good timely fashion that allowed me to trade it out and cap it with skill points.

I honestly don't know which way is "best" but I know what seemed to work for me.

I've never had an attribute being trained at those levels. I guess your building method is different from mine.

kicker (and others with 3 majors) I think are exceptions where I tend to train all of the attributes longer, even when the gains are very minor, so that justifies, I think, going past 3 stars.

When do you stop training an attribute and use skill points to cap?

Definitely, for a kicker or punter, 5 star kicking/punting right away. I even 5 star my second attribute (boomer - strength, technician - vision).

You dont necessarily need 4 AEQ for K/Ps because there are not many good bonuses/SAs for them. The bonus tokens are much better used for training upgrades.

I don't 5 star anything. I know its just the kicker/punter but 5 starring has been proven to not be worth the investment. Just my opinion is all though.

My current round of dots is using 5 star. 3 x the primary, then get to 5x on the 2nd and third by going back and forth, then 5 x the primary last.

I plan to go super high on the top 3 and then start light training earlier in the build to catch up on BTs. I am bored so why not?

I never stop. They usually line up perfectly to be capped in order...
