Forum > Suggestions > Optional training breakthrough alerts

Most of the time, I set my training up to train until a % is set to a certain number based on when I want to apply SPs for maximum impact. But many times, I get a training breakthrough that pushes me over 100%. It would be nice if each player had an option to get an alert if they get a breakthrough. I do not know how people with dozens of players keep track of their training. I only have 3, and have messed up twice this season due to breakthroughs.

In case any one missed it, this would be a PLAYER option, not an ACCOUNT option. And everyone would start as OFF, so that if you did not want to use it, you would have nothing to do at all.

EDIT: Never mind. I completely mis-read this suggestion. I'm an idiot.

Basically, you're not asking for them to do away with breakthroughs. You're asking for an optional Alert to let you know after a breakthrough has already happened, so you can make adjustments to that player as needed.

I guess I can +1 that.

Novus, he doesn't want the option to close training breakthrough, he just want an alert that inform your player get a breakthrough, since when you use auto-train, you don't know if you get a breakthrough or not.
But I don't think this is necessary...

Yeah, something caught my eye on the topic, and I re-read his post and went . I'm an idiot today.

Sims running early can have a hangover effect. Don't beat yourself up Novus.

Yeah, I've had two sims in a row start 65 minutes before sim time. I think Catch is trolling me now. Good thing I was ready for the second one ahead of time.

I actually kinda like this idea. Something similar to the arrow that shows auto-training is complete could be used to indicate breakthrough. It should only be active for between trains that had breakthroughs, though (one day for Intense/Normal/Relaxed training, 2 days for 2 way multi, 3 days for 3 way multi, 4 days for 4 way multi). If you got a breakthrough on a day where auto-training was completed, perhaps a different icon altogether?

That would work also. Anything that would give us a heads up to check training.
