Recently I've come across chat that has discussed the negative SA's are a greater % than most thought....I was just wondering is it worth putting any focus on raising a negative EQ? Say a power dual threat TE that has pancake as a negative...its last on the tree and would cost probably more than its worth to us SP..however, investing in the run blockers tree with CEQ and upgrading it with pancake. One could potentially get pancake around 6 to 10 (depending on AEQ).....would this be worth it if the dot has sufficient strength/blocking?

First Step for a slot WR is probably the only way I would do it now.
I am not sure something like Pancake is worth adding into as a negative SA. It almost doesn't hold enough benefit as a favored SA at times.

definitely get it. Solid BT SA. worth it, no argument against it unless you make a powerback with 30 agility which just means you dont deserve to be making the best position/arch in the game.

Something tells me reddogrw already knew the answer to his query

yeah - it was directed towards bhall as he only listed one penalty SA he would ever use

eh...ive come to grips there are tons of SA's I want before spin, especially since it is
A) the last SA in the tree
and
B) Penalized
Hell even Hurdle has become a worthwhile investment.

i really meant for the reply to benefit the OP.
my personal preference is power through, LTS, stiff arm and then spin. Not a huge fan of stiff arm but i like to pump the BT SAs and spin is just the last one i'll get.

Shed Block on d-line.

Most likely situations would be;
- Strength DE (First Step)
- if I had to convert a Speedster WR into Slot Machine at plateau (not that I think its a particularly good idea but RR and SH + Slot Machine is ok-ish.)
Only a few SAs I'd even consider personally;
.... First Step, Sticky Hands, Shed Blocks, Change Direction or Spin.
And usually only when shopping/building that last piece.
