We all know, of course, that it's best to get your gameplanning done as far in advance as possible. Good planning and prudence and all that.
However, for anyone who has ever had to choose between prioritizing their kids, wife, husband, job, or health over, y'know, playing a friggin' game, and thus occasionally finds themselves having to wait until the last minute to gameplan, Catch22 has now officially confirmed when "the last minute" actually is: 75 minutes prior to sim-time.

As long as we don't have rosters locking more than 75 minutes in advance, then this is something we are fine with.

So, there you go: sims can officially start up to 75 minutes prior to sim time.
There have been a variety of theories out there for a while among both users and Mods, ranging from that time being 60 minutes to 120 minutes, though up until now Bort and Catch22 themselves have avoided the topic entirely and have refused to give an "official" number. But now they have: 75 minutes.
Mods, feel free to lock this thread. No further discussion is really needed... just wanted to highlight this bit of previously-unconfirmed info so that Google searches of the forums will catch it in the future for anyone who wants a definitive answer to this question.
