I know that people have bitch pissed and moaned about this in the past, bleh bleh bleh, omgerhd I spent more than I should have on something bleh, bleh, bleh.
Fact is that this game needs more players who build a couple players... not to diddle around with the same dudes sitting on mountains of flex from ages ago that are going to cry about these newbies getting cheaper flexies on a holiday to promote more spending.
I'm sure I'm sure you had your reasons for getting rid of flex sales... but as I see it... I have absolutely no desire to spend money on this game, it is just too expensive.
I have been known to throw my money at games in the past, I'm not a frugal gamer... and I pretty much no-life this game at this moment.
My point is that if you can't convince me who is full out in love with your game to buy flex with your prices... then you are doing something wrong... I'm simply easy to please.... you just aren't doing it.
I'm by no means placing some guarantee that I'd blow my load on this site if you threw a discount in there tomorrow... I'm simply stating that I would be tempted...
It has been a long time since you made that decision (derp decision imo) and the people who protested it then likely are the same "the sky is falling" people who lost hope about new people actually becoming interested in the game.
I have told no less than like 10 of my friends about this game that just don't have the TIME to coordinate in this game, that all seemed genuinely interested in the game.... but ain't nobody gonna remember to constantly check a site to see how their ONE or MAYBE TWO players did... you really need to get involved with this game to make it a daily visit... whats a good way to grab someones involvement? its called... get them to spend SOME money...
Here is my suggestion in a nut shell:
Do flex sales for EVERYONE on holidays and random days of GLB activity (superbowl, fucking NFL draft... wtf ever gets people thinking GLB).
Do first-time buyer and new agent sales ALL the time, if its your first time buying flex everything should be like half-off... bitch be 200 times as likely to buy shit if that was the case... AND they probably WONT spend much... probably a few bucks... but they are then MORE likely to get interested and take advantage of the next HOLIDAY sale to get more involved.
What crybabies will say: "well I'll just make a new account and buy my next big batch of flex" SO.... let them lose their trophies and get accused of being a liar by random people so that they can save some money... they still spent money on your game.
