Im having trouble figuring these sliders out. Can anyone tell me where to g=find information on the bullet/lofty and open man/route distance sliders?

It really comes down to experimenting with it. There are a lot of factors that come into play such as the QB's throwing, strength, and the WR's catching attribute. Does the defense get a lot of deflections? Do you get a lot of drops? Do you throw deep or short/medium passes?

If you notice a lot of drops go more lofty. If you notice a lot of deflections try more bullet.

As far as open man settings it really comes down to how fast can your WR's run their route and when do you want your QB to throw it to them. Our WR's went catching first so they were slow to begin with so they couldn't run their route so we went with more "open man" settings. Once their speed/agility allowed them to run their routes quicker we went with more route distance settings.

thank you. was having difficulty with deflections but his strength is only at 60 at the moment. had it set to 50 towards bullet, going to see what 75 will do.

There will still be plenty of deflections as that is part of the game. It also comes down to the OC doing his job. Does he have QB throwing into double coverage? Does he have the progressions set to hit a WR at the right time? Are the WR's built to get open?

route distance is the trickiest of all imo and can mess up an otherwise great route read progression...

basically two things have to happen for the QB to throw the ball in the route.
first the QB decides he thinks the receiver is open enough to make the catch.
then he checks for the route distance that he wants to throw it to.
many things come into play here:

first, obviously wher u set the slider to. whats the tolerance between being open and waiting for the route?
also, down and distance can have a major effect. typically, the QB just wont pass to a guy 3 yards on 3rd and long.
the blitz reaction you chose also comes into play how quickly and when the QB will throw...
finally comes necessity. if the QB has not already decided it is time to throw the ball because they have not yet reached
the thresholds described above, eventually there reaches a point where they have to throw the football regardless,
at which point they will either throw to whoever is targeted atm,
switch back to a more open receiver previously in the progression if they can make a vision check
or go to a favorite receiver/go to guy if they pass the check for that.

so what is basically happening when the QB fixates on the receiver, is the QB thinks they are getting 'open'
but has not yet decided it is time to throw the ball. they will wait until that threshold is passed to throw the ball,
unless they decide the target is now covered, and move on in the progression,
or they decide there is no more time to wait and go ahead and throw the ball.

so, more towards open man on the slider can help the QB not fixate on the target as much and just throw the ball,
but on the flip side cause more passes before the play even developed and you might get some 2 yard gains...

now IMO not only do you have to take the QBs tendencies into account when setting up a route progression
but you also have to consider down and distance. like i said, it can cause the QB to fixate on a read
but not throw until they have first down yardage {or run out of time to wait} so you need to take that into account.
for a passing team i think that means different packages for 3rd down depending on distance needed,
with the route progressions adjusted accordingly.
